Speciociliatine -- not federally scheduled

Verified September 22, 2026

FEDERAL: speciociliatine (a mitragynine diastereomer) is not listed in 21 CFR 1308.11 as of 2026-09-22 (eCFR current). The 2026-08-26 temporary order covers pseudoindoxyl, MGM-15 and MGM-16 'including their isomers'; speciociliatine is an isomer of mitragynine, not of those three substances, so the order does not reach it by its terms. Interpretive exposure only if a future order names mitragynine.

21 CFR 1308.11 Schedule I (eCFR, current as of 2026-09-22): no entry for speciociliatine. (h)(89): '... (commonly known as mitragynine pseudoindoxyl) including its isomers, esters, ethers, salts, and salts of isomers, esters, and ethers, whenever the existence of such isomers, esters, ethers, and salts is possible.'

mitragynine pseudoindoxyl) including its isomers, esters,
ethers, salts, and salts of isomers, esters, and ethers,
