**OAC 4729:9-1-01(D) (hallucinogen scope)** — "Any material, compound, mixture, or preparation that contains any quantity of the following hallucinogenic substances, including their salts, isomers, and salts of isomers, unless specifically excepted under federal drug abuse control laws … (29) Psilocybin; (30) Psilocyn;"
— OAC 4729:9-1-01(D), https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-administrative-code/rule-4729:9-1-01 (OFFICIAL, eff. Nov. 8, 2025). 4-HO-MET does not appear; the only structural catch-alls in the rule are non-tryptamine.
**R.C. 3719.013 (analog treatment)** — "a controlled substance analog, to the extent intended for human consumption, shall be treated for purposes of any provision of the Revised Code as a controlled substance in schedule I."
— R.C. 3719.013, https://codes.ohio.gov/ohio-revised-code/section-3719.013 (OFFICIAL, eff. Dec. 20, 2012). The "controlled substance analog" definition (R.C. 3719.01) uses the federal-style "substantially similar chemical structure" + "substantially similar … hallucinogenic effect" to a Schedule I/II substance.
